Einstein recommends. It does not run the process.
Einstein is useful for scoring and suggestions inside the CRM. It is not an agent platform. For agents, start with the Agentforce vs custom decision, not an Einstein add-on quote. The first week is in the org, reading what already exists.

In the org
What this cloud is actually for.
Einstein is the predictive and generative layer inside Salesforce: scores, forecasts, next-best-action. It does not run your process. Agentforce is the agent runtime that can take the action. If you need agents that leave the org — Slack, ERP, a warehouse, a non-Salesforce model — that is a custom stack, not more Einstein. We implement Einstein features when they earn the seat, and we will say when they do not.
Who this is for
The desks that live here.
The honest no: if the work is a software factory with a named delivery date, we are the wrong partner.
Architecture
Where this cloud sits in your agent architecture.
Einstein scores inside the org. Acting on the score is a runtime and a write.
Questions
What we actually say.
- Can Einstein replace Agentforce?
- No. Einstein is scoring, forecast, next-best-action. It does not take the action. Do not hire anyone who sells it as an agent platform.
- When do you implement Einstein at all?
- When the feature earns the seat — a score the desk will use, a forecast they will believe. We will say when it does not.
- What if we need agents that leave the org?
- That is a custom stack: model, memory, identity, governance. Start with the Agentforce vs custom decision, not an Einstein add-on quote.
