Already on Teams? Keep it.
Most companies we meet use Microsoft 365, and Teams comes with it. The question is not which one wins. It is where the work that crosses teams, partners and systems should live.
The short version
Teams for meetings and files. Slack for the work in between.
Running both
How Slack and Microsoft 365 live together.
Slack does not replace your Microsoft licences. It sits beside them.

FAQ
What Teams companies ask.
- Will we pay twice?
- You keep Microsoft 365 and add Slack seats for the teams that need them. We size the seat count with you so you do not buy Slack for people who will not use it.
- Will people be confused about where to post?
- Only if nobody decides. We write a one-page rule: what goes where, and which channels exist. Then we train each team on it.
- Can Teams users talk to Slack users?
- Not in the same channel, without a third-party bridge. That is why we split by team and by work type, not person by person.
- Is Slack as secure as Microsoft?
- Slack holds its own ISO 27001 and SOC 2 reports and offers enterprise key management and audit logs on its top plans. See the security page for what each plan includes.

The honest no: if the work is a software factory with a named delivery date, we are the wrong partner.
